DNS lookup
Enter a domain to see its public DNS records as seen from our network.
What the records mean
A / AAAA point the domain to an IPv4 / IPv6 address. CNAME makes one name an alias of another. MX lists mail servers. NS names the servers that answer for the domain. TXT holds text such as email-authentication and verification entries.
Troubleshooting a site that won’t load
If a domain has no A or AAAA records, or they point somewhere unexpected, DNS is the likely cause. Recent changes can take time to spread. You can also check whether the site is down for everyone.
